Solution

Mutarotation is shown by a sugar having a free hemiacetal / hemiketal group, which can open to the chain form and close again as the other anomer.

Lactose and maltose have a free hemiacetal group in one unit, and fructose is a free monosaccharide all three show mutarotation.

As per NCERT, in sucrose the glycosidic linkage is between C1 of -D-glucose and C2 of -D-fructose, so both reducing groups are involved in the linkage sucrose is a non-reducing sugar.

(+) Sucrose has no free hemiacetal group and does not exhibit mutarotation.
